Kulam (meaning "everyone," from Moving Traditions) is a series of experiential sessions that use games, conversation, Jewish texts, and other activities to focus on Jewish identity and peoplehood, Jewish tools for adolescence, and social justice issues such as anti-semitism, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, gender, and racial justice. We'll be doing brand new sessions this year, while building on some of the learning we did last year, but if you're joining in now for the first time, that's just perfect!
We will meet at Reformation (212 East Capitol St., NE) eight times over the course of the year; once per month on Fridays from 5-6pm. Pizza will be served!
Please let Rabbi Hannah (rabbihannah@hillhavurah.org) and Student Rabbi Merissa (merissa.nathan.gerson@hillhavurah.org) know if you plan to participate -- or, if you're a parent, if your teen plans to participate!
