Please save the date for the Hill Havurah fundraiser for the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) on May 3, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m at the CHAW building, 545 7th St SE. Join fellow Havurah members for light snacks to support a neighborhood institution building community through the arts. A teaching artist will lead a Jewish-themed art activity for kids in kindergarten and up (see below for more information). Registration is required and the art activity is limited to 20 kids. Suggested donation of $50/family. Register through the Kindful link here.

We’ll start by learning a little about Chagall’s life and art, then dive into drawing
exercises exploring line, shape, perspective, proportions, and composition.
To wrap up, we’ll play a fun group game like Telephone, Connect-the-Dots and others
inspired by the playful spirit of Chagall.
