Pre-Rosh Hashanah Pop-up in the Park (an outdoor event for families with young children)!
Saturday, September 28, 2024 • 25 Elul 5784
10:00 AM - 10:45 AMMeet Rabbi Hannah and Laurie Solnik at Stanton Park for some Rosh Hashanah fun before the holiday! We'll meet Saturday, September 28th, at 10:00 am for some songs, a story, and a shofar blast to usher in the new year, followed by apples and honey sticks to fuel some playground run-around. Geared towards kiddos and their grown ups.
We'll aim to meet in the southwest corner of the park, but will move clockwise if that corner's taken. Bring a blanket to sit on and your hopes for the new year!
We'll start on time-ish and keep the program short to match our kiddos' attention spans; try to arrive early so you don't miss a thing!
If it turns out that the weather is bad, this event will take place indoors in the Parish Hall at Reformation (212 E. Capitol St., NE) -- and all registrants will be notified.
This event is supported by a generous grant from The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.
